Why you’re not seeing any carnival games anymore in Indiana
The state of Indiana has agreed to sell the remaining carnival season tickets for the 2018-2019 football season.
The deal with the Indiana Pacers follows years of talks between the team and the state of Illinois, which purchased the rights to the game in the 1990s.
The league sold its remaining season tickets in 2017, but the team’s fans will still have the chance to watch the Indiana team play a game on Sunday night.
The agreement includes a three-year extension that includes the game on Oct. 5 and the season finale on Oct, 22.
The 2018-19 carnival schedule includes games at home against Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan.
