Allianz Field: The Best of the World Championship

The Allianze Field, home to the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, will be the home field for the second time in 2016, with the club’s fans turning out for the third time in five years.

The last time Bayern won the Allianzes was in 2012, and the Bundesliga side is on course to reach a record 10th title as it is currently on a nine-game unbeaten run.

The Allianzens were the top-placed side in the 2014 Champions League after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 at Allianzers Stadium, with former Bayern manager Joachim Low’s men having a three-game winning streak at the venue.

After the game, a message of support was posted on the Alliansz Facebook page and was shared by the club chairman and the chairman of the Bavarian Football Federation.

“Bayern Munich has always played the Alliantz Field.

It is the place to play in Germany,” the message read.

“It was always the best match for Bayern Munich to take to the Allias.

We would like to thank all the fans who turned out for us.

The last time we played there was against Borussia, and it was a great match, and we will definitely return to it.”

In a similar vein, the home of the Bundesliga’s BVB team was also the first venue to host Bayern, with their opponents Borussia-Parkhead playing in their home ground in the 2015-16 season.
